Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr In a video released to social media, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) declares victory in her Congressional race and pledges a more tempered approach to governing. Lauren said: I am happy to report that all the counties in Colorado's Third District have completed their recounts. We've won this election as expected, and I'm headed back to represent you in Washington, DC. I can't thank you enough for all of your support. I'm so thrilled that the Republicans will now hold the gavel in the people's house, and I'm thrilled to be representing you in that majority. Since the day I announced I was running for Congress, this has been about doing everything I can to help get our country back on track. and put an end to the obstinate march toward socialism.  It's our responsibility now, and mine personally, to take the opportunity you've entrusted me with and make you proud, to lead with strength and grac

KJP Asked: Was Anyone In Biden Admin. In Twitter Content Moderation?

White House Press Briefing Karine Jean-Pierre (KJP) is asked about the Biden Administration's possible involvement in Twitter content moderation decisions. A reporter asked the White House press secretary : "On Twitter, Elon Musk this week fired the former FBI general counsel Jim Baker, who was serving as a top Twitter lawyer." Musk alleges that he may have been involved in countermanding his attempts at transparency. And I was wondering if anyone in the Biden Administration was in touch with Baker recently, either regarding moderation decisions that critics called political censorship or regarding his transparency efforts. KJP replied : It's up to private companies to make these types of decisions; we were not involved. I can say that we were not involved, and as I've said several times this week already, we've talked and had this conversation many times in this briefing room. Just a few days ago, it was up to these companies to make their own decisions ab

‘We Do Not See A Change In Our Democratic Majority’: White House On Kyrsten Sinema Leaving Party

White House Press Briefing  Karine Jean-Pierre is asked Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) leaving the Democratic Party. Here is the part of their conversation from the White House, you can watch the video shown below this article: Reporter : Just two days ago, you said that Warnock's win gave you a little bit more breathing room and a little bit more ability to deliver for the American people. Does Cinema's decision to leave the party take away some of that freaking room? Karine : As you all know, I said that we understand Senator Cinema's decision to register as an independent, but the way that we see it, it does not change the majority or the complexion of what the Democratic majority is going to look like in the Senate. Reporter : Does it impact you? I mean, you're saying that this decision won't change at all how you work with her, or you've said that you expect that, or you have every reason to expect that you will continue to work successfully with Cinema. Wh

Matt Gaetz Praises Donald Trump For Welcoming Black And Jewish Americans To His Private Clubs

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr At today's House Judiciary Committee hearing, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) praised former President Donald J. Trump for allowing Black and Jewish Americans to join his private clubs when that was not the norm. Matt Gaetz in his house floor speech said:  Mr. Chairman, let me begin by saying that it used to be the case on Palm Beach Island that no blacks or Jews were even allowed to be members or invited as members at the private clubs, and it was actually Donald Trump before he was in politics who made that, I believe, very important change so that we weren't treating people differently based on their immutable traits. I also want to say something on the subject of this hearing when it comes to Supreme Court ethics and guardrails. I am supportive of bipartisan efforts to have some sort of ethics construct on the court. I don't understand why Congress is subject to ethics rules and the executive is subject to ethics rules, bu

‘You Gotta Be Kidding Me’: Jim Jordan Slams Dem In Fiery House Floor Remarks

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr Representative Angie Craig of Minnesota blasted the Supreme Court on the House floor Thursday. The Democrats talked about marrying her wife and raising their family together, as well as fighting for legal protections for same-sex marriages across the country. She condemned the conservative wing of the court and legislators in opposition to the Respect for Marriage Act for being, quote, "out of step with the American people." Representative Jim Jordan responded by calling Democrats out of step for supporting France's rights legislation on abortions. You can watch the video clip shown below this article: Ms. Angie Craig said : Mr. Speaker, my wife Cheryl and I have married 14 years ago when one of the first states in our country allowed us to do so. It took years and a Supreme Court ruling to acknowledge and grant the legal protections that come with marriage across this great land. In the ensuing years, we raised our

Rick Scott Points Finger At Pelosi Over Failure To Fund Government

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr At a GOP press briefing on Wednesday, Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) called for a rejection of an omnibus government spending bill and instead pass a continuing resolution to fund the government after which the new Congress will work on the budget. Sen. Rick Scott said: What we want to have to happen is make sure that our military men and women will not continue to be discharged because of religious reasons or health reasons because they don't want to take the vaccine. That's an unbelievable win for military men and women. Remember, the military is about military members, and we need to have all the equipment we need to have all these things, but without the men and women in the military, we can't get this done. We still have to focus on the people that have been discharged; they need to be reinstated with back pay. These people have been injured, and this clearly doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense for the

'Did Hunter Biden Have Any Qualification... Other Than The Fact That His Daddy Was The Sitting VP?'

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr At a Tuesday Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing, Senator Ted Cruz grilled State Department official George Ken about alleged corruption by President Biden and his son Hunter. Questioning Ken over his past concerns about Hunter Biden, serving on the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma. Cruz pressed on whether or not there were ethical violations by the Bidens. Cruz has long been a fierce critic of the president's son. Charging his actions while his father was vice president included corruption and influence peddling. Democrats and the president himself have defended Hunter Biden, claiming GOP accusations are politically motivated. The Republicans have promised to make Hunter Biden's business dealings and whether his father profited from them central to their investigations in the next Congress. Senator Cruz said: Mr. Kent, you have been outspoken throughout your career speaking against corruption, and I w

DeSantis easily won over his opponent, Democrat and former Governor Charlie Crist. DeSantis is expected to run for president in 2024. Christ, a former one-term governor of Florida, now has the distinction of having lost an election in Florida on three different political platforms (Republican, Democrat, and independent), and he will not be returning to the House of Representatives. DeSantis, in his victory speech, said these words (transcript): Over these past four years, we've seen major challenges for the people of our state, for the citizens of the United States, and above all for the cause of freedom. We saw freedom in our very way of life and in so many other jurisdictions in this country. Florida, withering on the vine, held the line. We chose facts over fear, education over indoctrination, law and order over rioting and disorder; Florida was a haven of s

Gabard ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020 and has served as the vice chair of the DNC. Her switch to supporting Republicans has caused major ripples in the political landscape.   Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr Florida Governor Ron DeSantis talks about his economic record after four years in office at a Broward County rally on Friday. Keeping mostly to a stump speech, the Republican Governor compared his successes with jobs and efforts to reduce the cost of living to the nation as a whole under President Joe Biden.  DeSantis is born storming the state in the final days before the midterms. Polls show him with a double-digit lead over his Democratic challenger, Charlie Frist, a former congressman and governor of the Sunshine State. DeSantis is widely considered a possible 2024 presidential contender and consistently ranks second to former President Donald Trump. In his speech, DeSantis targeted Democrats and said: What I think about why Florida is a free state, one of the reasons is that we had to stand up to a lot of people to keep it free. We had to stand up to bureaucrats like Fauci, a lot of leftist politicians, and a corrupt me

Trump Mocks DeSantis During Pennsylvania Rally: 'Ron DeSanctimonious'

Photo "Donald Trump" by  Dan Scavino Former US President Donald Trump mocked Ron DeSantis as "Ron DeSanctimonious" at a Latrobe rally yesterday in Pennsylvania. Watch out for his complete reaction below. Trump, while addressing his rally, said these lines: Today I have the highest poll numbers I've ever had, perhaps partly because the Democrats are so severely running our country and people want our tremendous success of no inflation, energy independence, and military victory (remember, I defeated ISIS one hundred percent). Remember Al-Baghdadi and so many other things, including crime? We had it weighed down. But we have the best poll numbers; where are they putting them up on the screen? I think you should put them up and look at them. We are winning big, big, big in the Republican Party for the nomination like nobody's ever seen before. Let's say there is Trump at 71, Ron DeSanctimonious at 10 percent, and Mike Pence at seven. Targeting forme

JUST IN: Gov. Ron DeSantis Predicts Democrats Will Soon Push Biden Aside

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis predicts that Democrats will push President Biden aside following the midterms. DeSantis in his Political speech said: People are looking to Florida for leadership more than they ever have in the history of our state. We've had major issues of global significance, and we've been on the front lines protecting people's rights, keeping people working, and protecting our kids in school, and I think you see a huge groundswell of support out there to recognize that leadership. But it's also the case that people also recognize that, while the State of Florida may be on the right track, our country's leadership is taking us down the wrong track. And you've seen I don't know if you saw, but we did have a visitor earlier this week down in South Florida. It's a fella that was wandering around a little aimlessly. I don't know if he really knew where they had to get him—you kno

WATCH: Biden Gaffes Again, While Speaking In Florida Rally

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr President Biden gaffes about the "war in Iraq" causing inflation while speaking in Florida, then blames his reference to Iraq on his son Beau dying there; Beau Biden died in Walter Reed years after his service in Iraq. President Joe Biden misspoke again at a rally in South Florida on Tuesday. During his remarks, President Joe Biden accidentally said that inflation was caused by quoting the war in Iraq. The president then corrected himself and said it was Ukraine, but I didn't study was quote thinking of Iraq because that's where my son died. Biden's son Beau Biden served in Iraq from 2008 to 2009.  Biden has previously claimed that Beau died in Iraq despite the fact that he died at Walter Reed many years following his service. Biden has said he believes exposures to burn pitoxins may have contributed to the cancer that claimed beau's life. He said: “They talk about inflation… inflation is a worldwide

DeSantis Issues Warning To Doctors Performing Gender Affirming Surgery On Minors

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr At a campaign event yesterday, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) slammed doctors who perform gender confirmation surgeries on minors. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis continued his campaign for re-election on Wednesday, focusing on cultural and war issues. DeSantis has doubled down on his controversial stance on gender-affirming care for minors; he decried the teaching of so-called gender theory in public schools. A topic that has earned him accusations of transphobia and bigotry by many LGBTQ Americans and their allies DeSantis has celebrated his state's commitment to take doctors' medical licenses if they performed gender-firming surgeries on minors as well. The issue has become a hot topic among Republican politicians, who believe it can help them win votes among parents wary of social change. This sentence is currently leading his Democratic challenger Charlie Crist by double digits. DeSantis mentioned in his speech that:

AOC And Elon Musk Spar With Each Other On Social Media

Photo credit: nrkbeta/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr In a video released on social media Wednesday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) fired at Elon Musk after she claimed her Twitter notifications were not working.  In an Instagram story posted on Wednesday, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed that her Twitter notifications were no longer working after she criticized Elon Musk. The criticism was over Musk's plan to charge users $8 a month to verify their accounts. Musk posted a tweet yesterday with a photo of a sweatshirt sold on the New York Democrats' website for 58 dollars. AOC fired back, saying that her workers are in a union and make a living wage, and proceeds go to, quote, "community investments" like tutoring kids. Ocasio-Cortez delighted in the fact that Musk lashed out at her, saying, quote, "We have a billionaire." That's the American dream right there. In her released video, AOC said: I was at a community event in the Bronx

‘Let Me Tell You What I Think…’: Tudor Dixon Fires Back At Obama, Whitmer

Tudor Dixon With Donald Trump in Michigan Rally On Tuesday, Michigan Republican gubernatorial nominee Tudor Dixon campaigned against Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI). Michigan Republican gubernatorial nominee Tudor Dixon held a rally in  Valley Tuesday night where she responded to attacks from former President Obama and her opponent, Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Dixon, a former conservative commentator, stayed on message, slamming the incumbent governor for her education policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recent polling has shown Dixon still trailing Whitmer. But the Democratic Party has funneled huge amounts of money into protecting Whitmer from becoming a one-term governor. This past weekend, former President Obama visited Michigan to campaign for Whitmer.

'I’m Very Proud Of What We Are Doing': Vice President Kamala Harris Praises Inflation Reduction Act

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr Vice President Kamala Harris visits Boston to promote the Inflation Reduction Act. Vice President Kamala Harris visited Boston on Wednesday to promote the "inflation reduction act." The legislation that Democrats have touted as a landmark bill to address inflation, climate change, and health care has been at the centre of the Biden administration's final argument heading into the midterms. Boston is not a particularly competitive region politically, even with Massachusetts Democratic gubernatorial nominee Mark Kelly. Looking very strong in her race in the past few days, Harris has been sent to several locations that are already extremely friendly to Democrats. On Friday, Harris visited Bryn Mawr College for a Reproductive Rights Roundtable, which is located in a largely Democratic district. She has also campaigned in Maryland for gubernatorial nominee Wes Moore, who has a more than 25 percent lead on his Republican riv
