Lauren Boebert, a prominent politician, gave her thoughts on President Biden's 2023 State of the Union address.  In her view, the address was lacking in substantive solutions for issues such as illegal immigration, the opioid crisis, and inflation.  She also criticized Biden's attack on American energy producers and claims about Republicans cutting Social Security and Medicare.  Boebert believes that the Democrats' shutdown of businesses, schools, and churches during the COVID-19 pandemic is the real reason for America's recovery, and called for Biden to negotiate with Republicans if he wants to pass any legislation.  Overall, Boebert described the address as a "fail" and expressed hope that Biden's next State of the Union would be his last.

President Joe Biden spoke about infrastructure at an event on Thursday in Pittsburgh. During his remarks, he spoke about Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman. Fetterman is running for the United States Senate against Dr. Mehmet Oz to replace outgoing Senator Pat Toomey. President Biden thanked the veteran for running and then spoke to John's wife, Gisele Fetterman, and said she would quote be a great great lady in the Senate. John Fetterman has come under fire during the campaign, with his detractors questioning his fitness for office after he suffered a stroke earlier. I don't know what he's supposed to do, or what I don't think he knows, what's going on at all. I don't know how these guys are just having sprints of energy and mental energy for this guy to read the teleprompter. I don't understand that. This guy cannot function. I didn't have any problems with him I said, "Well, you know, he's just old and all that. Even though I understand that it is for his position, he has to be sharp, he has to be fit physically and mentally, he can't be full of energy, he's got so many issues at hand, but he has to analyze to make decisions.
