The criticism was over Musk's plan to charge users $8 a month to verify their accounts. Musk posted a tweet yesterday with a photo of a sweatshirt sold on the New York Democrats' website for 58 dollars. AOC fired back, saying that her workers are in a union and make a living wage, and proceeds go to, quote, "community investments" like tutoring kids. Okay, it was more like 17, but it was a room designed for about four to five hundred people, and it is embarrassing.
