President Joe Biden misspoke again at a rally in South Florida on Tuesday. During his remarks, President Joe Biden accidentally said that inflation was caused by quoting the war in Iraq. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis continued his campaign for re-election on Wednesday, focusing on cultural and war issues. DeSantis has doubled down on his controversial stance on gender-affirming care for minors; he decried the teaching of so-called gender theory in public schools. A topic that has earned him accusations of transphobia and bigotry by many LGBTQ Americans and their allies DeSantis has celebrated his state's commitment to take doctors' medical licenses if they performed gender-firming surgeries on minors as well. The issue has become a hot topic among Republican politicians, who believe it can help them win votes among parents wary of social change. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) fired at Elon Musk after she claimed her Twitter notifications were not working.  In an Instagram story posted on Wednesday, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed that her Twitter notifications were no longer working after she criticized Elon Musk. The criticism was over Musk's plan to charge users $8 a month to verify their accounts. Musk posted a tweet yesterday with a photo of a sweatshirt sold on the New York Democrats' website for 58 dollars. AOC fired back, saying that her workers are in a union and make a living wage, and proceeds go to, quote, "community investments" like tutoring kids. Michigan Republican gubernatorial nominee Tudor Dixon held a rally in  Valley Tuesday night where she responded to attacks from former President Obama and her opponent, Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Dixon, a former conservative commentator, stayed on message, slamming the incumbent governor for her education policies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
