Nearly 40 GOP lawmakers call on President Joe Biden to follow the example set by former President Trump.

GOP Leaders urge Joe Biden to take the cognitive test, say his 'mental decline' has 'become more apparent, Recent polls have also shown that Joe Biden, age 79, is facing questions about his mental fitness, Americans are unsure of Biden's mental fitness for office. The former physician to the president Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, led a letter with 37 of his Republican colleagues to Joe on Tuesday expressing their "concern" with Biden’s "current cognitive state."

Ronny Jackson on his official Twitter Handle wrote:

Biden isn’t the “leader” of this country. He’s not all mentally there. He’s a braindead figurehead for the most RADICAL elements of the Democrat Party. He needs to GO!

We've seen Biden's cognitive decline on full display for over a YEAR. If President Trump took a cognitive exam while in office, so should Biden. This problem will only get worse with time. We can't afford to wait ANY longer. TAKE THE TEST NOW!

"As a former physician to 3 POTUS, I know what it takes mentally and physically to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief and Head of State," Ronny continued. "Joe Biden has continually proven to me and to the world that something isn’t right. The American people deserve to have absolute confidence in their President’s cognitive ability."

Ronny said Joe's taking "the cognitive test will be an important first step" in reassuring Americans that the president is fit for office or "in identifying and properly treating symptoms of impairment that are consistent with a variety of cognitive diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, vascular dementia, Parkinson’s, or multiple sclerosis."

"This is not a partisan issue. When I discussed taking a cognitive test with the former President Donald Trump, he was eager to assure the American people and to put the fake news media’s stories to bed," the former presidential doctor wrote. "Why won’t President Biden do the same?"

In the letter, the lawmakers wrote that they "believe that, regardless of gender, age, or political party, all Presidents should follow the example set by former President Donald J. Trump to document and demonstrate sound mental abilities."

"While you underwent your annual physical exam on November 19, 2021, you either did not face a cognitive test or those results were withheld from the public," they continued, adding that while the current physician to the president cleared Biden physically, the lawmakers "are worried about your mental abilities."

The Republican lawmakers also pointed to Joe's stumbling when trying to say how many Americans have received the COVID booster shot and wrote that the slip-ups are "not just a recent trend," saying the president’s "mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent over the past 2 years."

There are about 37 more Republican lawmakers who joined this letter including House Republican Conference chairwoman Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, GOP conference vice chairman Mike Johnson of Louisiana, Republican Study Committee chairman Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana & GOP Doctor Caucus.

WATCH: Biden Gaffes Again, While Speaking In Florida Rally

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr President Biden gaffes about the "war in Iraq" causing inflation while speaking in Florida, then blames his reference to Iraq on his son Beau dying there; Beau Biden died in Walter Reed years after his service in Iraq. President Joe Biden misspoke again at a rally in South Florida on Tuesday. During his remarks, President Joe Biden accidentally said that inflation was caused by quoting the war in Iraq. The president then corrected himself and said it was Ukraine, but I didn't study was quote thinking of Iraq because that's where my son died. Biden's son Beau Biden served in Iraq from 2008 to 2009.  Biden has previously claimed that Beau died in Iraq despite the fact that he died at Walter Reed many years following his service. Biden has said he believes exposures to burn pitoxins may have contributed to the cancer that claimed beau's life. He said: “They talk about inflation… inflation is a worldwide

Trump Mocks DeSantis During Pennsylvania Rally: 'Ron DeSanctimonious'

Photo "Donald Trump" by  Dan Scavino Former US President Donald Trump mocked Ron DeSantis as "Ron DeSanctimonious" at a Latrobe rally yesterday in Pennsylvania. Watch out for his complete reaction below. Trump, while addressing his rally, said these lines: Today I have the highest poll numbers I've ever had, perhaps partly because the Democrats are so severely running our country and people want our tremendous success of no inflation, energy independence, and military victory (remember, I defeated ISIS one hundred percent). Remember Al-Baghdadi and so many other things, including crime? We had it weighed down. But we have the best poll numbers; where are they putting them up on the screen? I think you should put them up and look at them. We are winning big, big, big in the Republican Party for the nomination like nobody's ever seen before. Let's say there is Trump at 71, Ron DeSanctimonious at 10 percent, and Mike Pence at seven. Targeting forme

DeSantis Issues Warning To Doctors Performing Gender Affirming Surgery On Minors

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis continued his campaign for re-election on Wednesday, focusing on cultural and war issues. DeSantis has doubled down on his controversial stance on gender-affirming care for minors; he decried the teaching of so-called gender theory in public schools. A topic that has earned him accusations of transphobia and bigotry by many LGBTQ Americans and their allies DeSantis has celebrated his state's commitment to take doctors' medical licenses if they performed gender-firming surgeries on minors as well. The issue has become a hot topic among Republican politicians, who believe it can help them win votes among parents wary of social change. This sentence is currently leading his Democratic challenger Charlie Crist by double digits. DeSantis mentioned in his speech that:
