Michigan Republican gubernatorial nominee Tudor Dixon held a rally in Valley Tuesday night where she responded to attacks from former President Obama and her opponent, Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Dixon, a former conservative commentator, stayed on message, slamming the incumbent governor for her education policies during the COVID-19 pandemic. Recent polling has shown Dixon still trailing Whitmer. But the Democratic Party has funneled huge amounts of money into protecting Whitmer from becoming a one-term governor. This past weekend, former President Obama visited Michigan to campaign for Whitmer.
