I think first of all that it's a mistake to announce before the election. This election should be a referendum on Joe Biden, should be a referendum on the highest gas prices in history. Should be a referendum on 9.1% inflation and all the other things that are going on. Anything which distracts from that message I think undermines and weakens the republican opportunity. We have a chance right now to potentially win the biggest victory since 1920. For that to happen, we have to run a national campaign. People have to focus on how big the issues are. While many tuned in to hear the President's plans for the future, some were left frustrated by his speaking style.
