Sen. Lindsey Graham reacts to the conflict between Elon Musk and former President Trump amid talk of Gov. Ron DeSantis running for president on ‘Jesse Watters Primetime.’

Lindsey Graham said:

I think Elon musk basically declared Donald Trump dead politically, and you know I like Elon fine but let me just say this, Ron DeSantis has been a great governor but this is Donald Trump's party and Elon musk will not pick the nominee for the Republican party in 2024, Republicans will do that and I like Trump's chances in South Carolina. Trump will win going away if he runs again.

Talking about the threat from Desantis if trump seeks the nomination, Graham said:

You never say that in politics, I like Ron DeSantis but I know what I'm getting with Donald Trump. The good and the bad and everything in between Trump sounds pretty good to me. You know Gavin Newsom may be the only guy that Biden is willing to deport.

Look at what's going on at the border you know Biden in the middle east compares Biden to Trump. When it comes to the Mideast, you know Biden's begging the Iranians to get back in a deal that's terrible for the Israelis and the Arabs, Biden is going to go to east Jerusalem to undercut the Trump policy of making Jerusalem the undivided capital of Israel.

I've never seen a President tour the Mideast in a more weakened condition than president Biden and I say that with sadness. Trump looks pretty damn good to me when you look at the issues we're facing as a nation and as a world.

I will say that the democratic party in large numbers wants to move on from Biden, The republican party substantially supports President Trump. So everybody talks about the Trump effect in 2022. If you are a Democrat and somebody said to you running in 2022, Biden is here to help you jump out the window.

Will trump be going around the country to help Republicans turn out for the midterms?

Lindsey Graham responded and said: Yeah, I talked to the President a couple of days ago, he is really sort of heartbroken about what's going on with the country. He's very much invested in ensuring, we win the house and the Senate in 2022. And all I can say to the President and he watches your show pretty routinely, if you will talk about, what you did as president and compares it to what Biden is doing now, I think people are going to appreciate you now more than ever.

And Ron DeSantis is a great guy I've been a great governor, but it was Donald Trump who destroyed ISIS killed Soleimani secured the border nobody else and he did it once he can do it again. So I think he would be very actively involved in the 2022 cycle and I think that would be a benefit to republicans.

Rand Paul (R-KY) questioned Colleen Shogan, nominee to be Archivist of the United States about classifications. During the Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing, Senator Rand Paul questioned Colleen Shogan, nominee to be Archivist of the United States, about her understanding of the Archivist's role in certifying amendments to the Constitution and whether the Archivist has the power to change or alter the election results.  Shogan stated that the Archivist's function is ministerial and that the Archivist publishes an amendment when it becomes part of the Constitution but does not decide whether an amendment has been ratified. She also stated that she would not allow security at the Archives to force people to cover clothing that has a political speech on it. Senator Paul expressed his concern about the over-classification of government documents, citing an

'It's Coming Whether People Like It Or Not?': Boebert Lashes Out At Dem Over Green New Deal Remarks

In a recent hearing, Representative Lauren Boebert from Colorado expressed her support for two bills aimed at streamlining the permitting process and promoting responsible energy production. However, she also lashed out at Democratic Representative Squalachi for his comments regarding the Green New Deal. Boebert argued that the Green New Deal and renewable energy sources are being forced upon people by the federal government, rather than allowing the market to decide. She further criticized the government's heavy subsidies for renewables, which she claimed were not truly renewable. Boebert also expressed her support for her own bill, H.R 1067, which she claimed would help reduce gas prices by providing certainty for energy producers. She questioned the Biden Administration's compliance with the leasing mand

Plaskett then went on to say that it was unacceptable for Kevin McCarthy to provide 41,000 hours of sensitive security footage to Tucker Carlson, a biased talking head, in an effort to rewrite what happened on January 6th.
