DeSantis easily won over his opponent, Democrat and former Governor Charlie Crist. DeSantis is expected to run for president in 2024. Christ, a former one-term governor of Florida, now has the distinction of having lost an election in Florida on three different political platforms (Republican, Democrat, and independent), and he will not be returning to the House of Representatives. DeSantis, in his victory speech, said these words (transcript): Over these past four years, we've seen major challenges for the people of our state, for the citizens of the United States, and above all for the cause of freedom. We saw freedom in our very way of life and in so many other jurisdictions in this country. Florida, withering on the vine, held the line. We chose facts over fear, education over indoctrination, law and order over rioting and disorder; Florida was a haven of s

The former Hawaii representative has been storming the country campaigning for Republicans, including Kristi Noem in South Dakota, Tudor Dixon in Michigan, and Adam Laxalt in Nevada. Gabard ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020 and has served as the vice chair of the DNC. Her switch to supporting Republicans has caused major ripples in the political landscape.   Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr Florida Governor Ron DeSantis talks about his economic record after four years in office at a Broward County rally on Friday. Keeping mostly to a stump speech, the Republican Governor compared his successes with jobs and efforts to reduce the cost of living to the nation as a whole under President Joe Biden.  DeSantis is born storming the state in the final days before the midterms. Polls show him with a double-digit lead over his Democratic challenger, Charlie Frist, a former congressman and governor of the Sunshine State. DeSantis is widely considered a possible 2024 presidential contender and consistently ranks second to former President Donald Trump. In his speech, DeSantis targeted Democrats and said: What I think about why Florida is a free state, one of the reasons is that we had to stand up to a lot of people to keep it free. We had to stand up to bureaucrats like Fauci, a lot of leftist politicians, and a corrupt me

Trump Mocks DeSantis During Pennsylvania Rally: 'Ron DeSanctimonious'

Photo "Donald Trump" by  Dan Scavino Former US President Donald Trump mocked Ron DeSantis as "Ron DeSanctimonious" at a Latrobe rally yesterday in Pennsylvania. Watch out for his complete reaction below. Trump, while addressing his rally, said these lines: Today I have the highest poll numbers I've ever had, perhaps partly because the Democrats are so severely running our country and people want our tremendous success of no inflation, energy independence, and military victory (remember, I defeated ISIS one hundred percent). Remember Al-Baghdadi and so many other things, including crime? We had it weighed down. But we have the best poll numbers; where are they putting them up on the screen? I think you should put them up and look at them. We are winning big, big, big in the Republican Party for the nomination like nobody's ever seen before. Let's say there is Trump at 71, Ron DeSanctimonious at 10 percent, and Mike Pence at seven. Targeting forme

JUST IN: Gov. Ron DeSantis Predicts Democrats Will Soon Push Biden Aside

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis predicts that Democrats will push President Biden aside following the midterms. DeSantis in his Political speech said: People are looking to Florida for leadership more than they ever have in the history of our state. We've had major issues of global significance, and we've been on the front lines protecting people's rights, keeping people working, and protecting our kids in school, and I think you see a huge groundswell of support out there to recognize that leadership. But it's also the case that people also recognize that, while the State of Florida may be on the right track, our country's leadership is taking us down the wrong track. And you've seen I don't know if you saw, but we did have a visitor earlier this week down in South Florida. It's a fella that was wandering around a little aimlessly. I don't know if he really knew where they had to get him—you kno

WATCH: Biden Gaffes Again, While Speaking In Florida Rally

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr President Biden gaffes about the "war in Iraq" causing inflation while speaking in Florida, then blames his reference to Iraq on his son Beau dying there; Beau Biden died in Walter Reed years after his service in Iraq. President Joe Biden misspoke again at a rally in South Florida on Tuesday. During his remarks, President Joe Biden accidentally said that inflation was caused by quoting the war in Iraq. The president then corrected himself and said it was Ukraine, but I didn't study was quote thinking of Iraq because that's where my son died. Biden's son Beau Biden served in Iraq from 2008 to 2009.  Biden has previously claimed that Beau died in Iraq despite the fact that he died at Walter Reed many years following his service. Biden has said he believes exposures to burn pitoxins may have contributed to the cancer that claimed beau's life. He said: “They talk about inflation… inflation is a worldwide

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis continued his campaign for re-election on Wednesday, focusing on cultural and war issues. DeSantis has doubled down on his controversial stance on gender-affirming care for minors; he decried the teaching of so-called gender theory in public schools. A topic that has earned him accusations of transphobia and bigotry by many LGBTQ Americans and their allies DeSantis has celebrated his state's commitment to take doctors' medical licenses if they performed gender-firming surgeries on minors as well. The issue has become a hot topic among Republican politicians, who believe it can help them win votes among parents wary of social change. This sentence is currently leading his Democratic challenger Charlie Crist by double digits. DeSantis mentioned in his speech that:
