On Thursday, Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) warned of a "clear and present danger" to the US.

In her Senate speech Joni Ernst said:

Blocking the bill's passage today is not just disappointing, but it is endangering, and we have to act now.

I mean, you can read the Tweet. It's right here. They're Seeking Justice. They're looking for retribution and revenge, and again it was sent from U.S. soil. This tweet was

If that doesn't constitute a clear and present danger demanding immediate attention, then I honestly don't know what does. Even if a nuclear agreement is reached, folks, it's not going to change Iran's at Russian influence was not curbed by the Obama-Biden administration's failures. In fact, it invigorated Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons.

Their mythical deal effectively financed the world's best organized and most capable terror group to rain down attacks on the United States, Israel, and even the Arab Gulf States. After the deal was signed, Iran went on the offensive, and I can give you some statistics to actually show that activities increased.

Attacks against the United States and our partners increased from roughly eight incidents per every 100 days in 2015 to 28 incidents per 100 days during the 3.5 years that the JCPOA was in effect, so arguing that the nuclear deal is a credible deterrent against Iranian terrorism doesn't actually hold water.

Thousands of people have died fighting the global war on terrorism, including 600 U.S. service members. They have been killed by Iranian proxies in Iraq and Syria. I was there on the ground in 2003 for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The leader of that initial surge was a name that we all know well, General Jim Mattis. The men and women in uniform then, and today, know that Iran is an enemy. We have no common cause with the ayatollahs or anyone who chants death to America.

Our enemy and I will quote the good General, "I come in peace." I didn't bring artillery, but I'm pleading with you with tears in my eyes. If you screw with me and he uses a different word, I'll kill you all.

Folks Iran is killing our people overseas. And they're trying to kill our people right here in the United States of America. We cannot be appeased and we cannot back down.

Rand Paul (R-KY) questioned Colleen Shogan, nominee to be Archivist of the United States about classifications. During the Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing, Senator Rand Paul questioned Colleen Shogan, nominee to be Archivist of the United States, about her understanding of the Archivist's role in certifying amendments to the Constitution and whether the Archivist has the power to change or alter the election results.  Shogan stated that the Archivist's function is ministerial and that the Archivist publishes an amendment when it becomes part of the Constitution but does not decide whether an amendment has been ratified. She also stated that she would not allow security at the Archives to force people to cover clothing that has a political speech on it. Senator Paul expressed his concern about the over-classification of government documents, citing an

'It's Coming Whether People Like It Or Not?': Boebert Lashes Out At Dem Over Green New Deal Remarks

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr At a House Natural Resources Committee hearing on Tuesday, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) spoke about the Green New Deal. In a recent hearing, Representative Lauren Boebert from Colorado expressed her support for two bills aimed at streamlining the permitting process and promoting responsible energy production. However, she also lashed out at Democratic Representative Squalachi for his comments regarding the Green New Deal. Boebert argued that the Green New Deal and renewable energy sources are being forced upon people by the federal government, rather than allowing the market to decide. She further criticized the government's heavy subsidies for renewables, which she claimed were not truly renewable. Boebert also expressed her support for her own bill, H.R 1067, which she claimed would help reduce gas prices by providing certainty for energy producers. She questioned the Biden Administration's compliance with the leasing mand
