At a House Armed Services Committee hearing, Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) asked Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Celeste Wallander if there are 'contingency plans' for President Joe Biden.

Matt: I sort of wonder whether or not have to have contingency plans for a president who seems to be confused on those matters. And you're saying there is no contingency plan?

Dr. Wallander said: I'm telling you, Congressman the Department of Defense leadership is focused on sustaining and advancing American Nationals security policy of this administration.

Matt: Is, the Department of defense, Frustrated by the President's against US policy?

Dr. Wallander said: Congressman, I think that is an inappropriate characterization of the question.

Matt: Is the department leadership frustrated its I'm not characterization.

Dr. Wallander said: Congressman: I can only speak for myself. I am not frustrated. I feel privileged and honored by the American people and to serve the president and this administration.

Matt: Are you aware of any other off at the department that is frustrated by the president's policy?
