DeSantis easily won over his opponent, Democrat and former Governor Charlie Crist. DeSantis is expected to run for president in 2024. Christ, a former one-term governor of Florida, now has the distinction of having lost an election in Florida on three different political platforms (Republican, Democrat, and independent), and he will not be returning to the House of Representatives. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) slammed President Biden's State of the Union address and defended calling him a "liar." Last night, President Joe Biden delivered his State of the Union address to the nation. While many tuned in to hear the President's plans for the future, some were left frustrated by his speaking style. According to some reports, Biden was difficult to understand at times due to his tendency to yell and mumble through applause.
