She was also the former (9th) Governor of Alaska from 2006 until her resignation in 2009 and the Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska from 1996 to 2002. Sarah Palin is recently running for the US Senate race from Alaska, she is also endorsed by former US President Donald Trump for this Senate race.

She created Alaska’s Petroleum Systems Integrity Office to provide oversight and maintenance of oil and gas equipment, facilities, and infrastructure.
