Donald Trump recently released this statement after Facebook suspends his official account for the next two years until 2023 due to policy violations & the US Capitol riots in 2021. You can also read the statement given by Facebook on Donald Trump's Account here.

Not only his Facebook, but Donald J. Trump will also be not able to use his official Instagram Account for the next 2 years. Facebook also told to evaluate external factors, including instances of violence, restrictions on peaceful assembly, and other markers of civil unrest. If they determine that there is still a serious risk to public safety, they will extend the restriction for a set period of time and continue to re-evaluate until that risk has receded. The Facebook board responded that there is a large number of people who believe it was not appropriate for a private company like us to suspend an outgoing President from our platform and many others who believe Mr. Trump should have immediately been banned for life. They know today’s decision will be criticized by many people on opposing sides of the political divide — but their job is to make a decision in as proportionate, fair, and transparent a way as possible, in keeping with the instruction given to them by the Oversight Board. They are trying to balance the values of free expression and safety on our services, for all users, as enshrined in our Community Standards.
