In her speech Lisa said: I rise today to reiterate an important statement made by our president. The pandemic is over. This weekend on 60 Minutes, President Biden finally said what most Americans have known for months. We are no longer in the COVID-19 pandemic. So if the president just admitted it, that means the National Emergency is over. If that's the case, then why did the president just tell the country that the pandemic is so bad that we should forgive billions of dollars of student debt? or that it's because of the ongoing pandemic that we must continue to enforce a vaccine mandate on our nation's military. Gaetz in his remarks said: Mr. Chairman, I can't imagine being one of the 232 people sitting in federal prison right now thinking if I had committed the exact same offense after President Trump had signed the first step act, I wouldn't be here anymore. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) presented articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden. In a video posted to social media Tuesday, representative Marjorie Taylor Green announced she was introducing articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden. "Joe Biden is selling our strategic petroleum reserves. This should never happen." The Firebrand conservatives have been pushing to impeach the president since last year. In August 2021, Green introduced three impeachment resolutions against Biden. They focused on the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, legal immigration through the U.S.-Mexico border, and Biden's eviction moratorium.   John Fetterman's Rally in Indiana County, PA At a campaign stop on Tuesday, John Fetterman slammed Dr. Mehmet Oz for his comments pertaining to his stroke. On Tuesday, Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman held a campaign rally in Indiana, PA as he seeks the Keystone State's open senate seat. A progressive Democrat, slammed his Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz, a former TV star, for comments pertaining to his recent stroke. Fetterman mocked the sparse Valley crowds and returned to familiar insults pertaining to Oz's crew. Fetterman and Oz are in a tight race and many recent polls show the GOP challenger within the margin of error. The scene in Pennsylvania could determine the balance of power in the Senate.

The governor said that she had sustained the back injury about two months ago. The South Dakota governor, who was often rumored as a potential 2024 presidential candidate, called the surgery a complete success. However, the governor said she would be very limited over the next several months. Governor Gnome said that she would continue to work and campaign.
