Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr US Rep. Lisa McClain (R-Michigan) responds to President Biden declaring the COVID-19 pandemic over. In her speech Lisa said: I rise today to reiterate an important statement made by our president. The pandemic is over. This weekend on 60 Minutes, President Biden finally said what most Americans have known for months. We are no longer in the COVID-19 pandemic. So if the president just admitted it, that means the National Emergency is over. If that's the case, then why did the president just tell the country that the pandemic is so bad that we should forgive billions of dollars of student debt? or that it's because of the ongoing pandemic that we must continue to enforce a vaccine mandate on our nation's military. I'll tell you why. It's because it was never about the pandemic. It was about the president bypassing Congress and the Constitution to push his radical socialist agenda. Mr. Speaker, President Bide

Gaetz in his remarks said: Mr. Chairman, I can't imagine being one of the 232 people sitting in federal prison right now thinking if I had committed the exact same offense after President Trump had signed the first step act, I wouldn't be here anymore. I'd be with my family. But instead, because of what I think is a flawed determination that didn't allow retroactivity, we are treating people differently for committing the same offenses. We're incarcerating some people for the very same offenses that they would otherwise not be incarcerated for. And so I think that's an appropriate fix. There has been discussion today about fentanyl and it irks me every time I hear someone talk about fentanyl overdoses. Because no one overdoses on fentanyl because I don't think anybody really sets out to, like, sco

Do watch his response below: A journalist asked Gov. DeSantis this: House Democrats condemned the vibrant place. Representative Jeffries said you (Ron DeSantis) and Texas Governor Greg Abbott need to stop acting like or start acting like governors and stop acting like human traffickers first. What is your response to that? In a second, is there a second vibrant flight going from Texas to Delaware? Responding to her question, DeSantis said: So when Biden was flying these people all over the fruited plane in the middle of the night, I didn't hear a peep out of those people okay. I haven't heard a peep about all the people that have been told by Biden you can just come in and they're going, they're being abused by the cartels, they're drowning in the Rio Grande. You had 50 that died in some shed in Texas. I heard

This is not something where they're only going to be going after billionaires. In fact, billionaires all have accountants and lawyers. They're going to be going after people who are not going to be able to defend themselves against these audits. And you know, they actually proposed an amendment when this was being debated in the US senate saying this should not be any of these agents' audits under 400,000 a year and the democrats voted that down. They did not want to protect Americans earning less t

We won Ohio twice, and now we're way up higher. We want it in two landslides, and now we have to give JD a landslide because he's straight. I have to give him a landslide. What a state. But you know what, coming in, I noticed some of the factories, the old buildings, and I said, you know, 50 years ago, that was something that was incredible. Now you look at them and they're not looking too good. They're not looking too good. But we brought it back and we brought it back strong, and now they're letting it go back to China and these oth
