Gov. Kristi Noem Pledges To Never Mandate COVID-19 Vaccine For Schoolchildren

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem (Photo courtesy Gov. Kristi Noem/Twitter) On Wednesday, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem pledged not to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine for children. Her pledge came after the CDC's advisory committee on immunization practices recommended the COVID-19 vaccine's inclusion in the vaccines for children program. Noem, who was running for reelection, accused her Democratic opponent of supporting mandatory vaccination for children wishing to attend public school. Recent polling from South Dakota State University shows Noem in an unexpectedly close race with a lead of just a few points. A conservative rising star and possible Dark Horse 2024 Republican Presidential Contender Gnome has touted her COVID-19 record in her campaign, including her opposition to lockdowns and vaccine mandates.

'How About A Round Of Applause For Herschel And His Family For Putting Up With All This Crap?'

Herschel Walker Senator Lindsey Graham campaigned for Georgia Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker in Buckhead, Georgia on Tuesday. Graham insisted that Herschel tell you what he believes about who he is. He's been transparent about his life. The race between Walker and Democratic Sen. Rafael Warnock could determine which party controls the Senate. Graham's appearance on the campaign trail comes after The Daily Beast reported two weeks ago that Walker paid for a woman's abortion in 2009. Despite the former NFL star's hard-line anti-abortion stance. The woman also told several outlets she later became pregnant with a second child and that Walker again urged her to have an abortion, but she declined. Walker has repeatedly denied the allegations, claiming it was a quote a job from a democratic activist. Yesterday, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) campaigned for Herschel Walker.

DeSantis Responds To Kamala Harris' Comments On 'Equity' In Hurricane Relief Allocation

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) responds to Vice President Kamala Harris's "equity" comments pertaining to Hurricane aid. People may be denied answers to questions about FEMA, DeSantis said. Is this tied to Kamala Harris's suggestion that they're going to use things like racial equity rather than just the merits? I can tell you I spoke with the FEMA administrator. They promised to do it on the merits. We're going to make sure it's on the merits. I think the thing that Kevin Guthrie, our division of Emergency Management director, has pointed out is that getting denied by FEMA does not mean you're ultimately not going to get it. Sometimes you may need to provide more substantiation. Gov. DeSantis Awards $5,000 Bonus Checks To Cape Coral Police Officers in Florida So just see what they're looking for. You can go to the DRCs. Gov. DeSantis Awards $5,000 Bonus Checks To Cape Coral Police Officers in Florida

Photo credit: Gage Skidmore/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was in Cape Coral at the city police department today. He held an event to provide $5,000 bonuses to Cape Coral police officers who "got a baptism by fire" during Hurricane Ian. Explaining his reasons for supporting police officers, Ron DeSantis said the state had drawn a hard line to be a law and order state, and that those who "wear the uniform" keep society from fraying by doing their jobs. He also said media attacks against law enforcement officers had been "damaging" and that those "risking their lives do not have the support" of politicians and communities "since the Floyd riots." The law established the $5,000 bonus program, provided that dependent children of law enforcement officers be eligible for new and existing scholarships, and more. It has also boosted county sheriffs’ salaries based on the population of their jurisdiction. It exempted veter

AOC Heckled By Constituent At Town Hall Event in the Bronx, New York

Photo credit: nrkbeta/CC BY-SA 2.0,  via Flickr I'm sure you saw AOC's little town hall in the Bronx, New York, on Wednesday, her little public, you know, Q&A for her constituents. That was embarrassing. So AOC, I don't know if she's done this before, decides to have a town hall and they book a high school in her district and seven people show up. Okay, it was more like 17, but it was a room designed for about four to five hundred people, and it is embarrassing. If you've seen the footage, it's like this is a U.S congresswoman and nobody cares. Oh well, actually a couple of people did care, and they went after her. They accused her of voting for nuclear war. That great interface accused her of voting for nuclear war, and they were praising Tulsi Gabbard and AOC, saying that if Tulsi did it, AOC should do it, and she should abandon the Democrats, but it was a complete embarrassment. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was roasted on Twitter Thursday after she cal
