The governor said that she had sustained the back injury about two months ago. The South Dakota governor, who was often rumored as a potential 2024 presidential candidate, called the surgery a complete success. White House Press Briefing  On Wednesday, Karine Jean-Pierre held a White House press briefing after President Biden announced his plan to cancel student loan debt for millions of Americans. Many Republicans are dismayed by this announcement.
