Ron DeSantis (R) spoke about higher education. DeSantis while addressing the media said: As you know if you have good ideas that are really going to be value-added we want to be a part of those discussions and we want to be able to help where we can not just with infrastructure but you know we've done a lot of workforce education in Florida. We have expanded CDLS commercial driver's license slots at our state colleges. Many state colleges around the state that's a high demand job you know, they'll pay you a fifteen thousand dollar (15000$) signing bonus. If you start as a truck driver now Walmart will pay you 110 grand as a starting salary, and so those opportunities are there in that and other types of skilled labor.
